Materials SPEC Stratobone B DIMENSIONS (W/D/H): WEIGHT: CONTENTS: 170mm x 50mm x 17mm 156g Backbone, 2 screws How It Works / Installation Backbone Guitar Products are based on a revolutionary design specifically for bolt on neck guitars. The T-BONE products are built for Fender™ Telecaster guitar models and copies. The STRATOBONE products are built for Fender ™ Stratocaster guitar models and copies. The products provide a missing link to complete the path between the neck mount and string ferules or tremolo, forming a neck through platformed guitar. By lying in contact with the body, Backbone products add mass to the guitar, producing a by-product of increased tone, sustain and resonance. These products do not require any modification to the core instrument which will not affect the value of your guitar. This is especially important for vintage guitars of value. The STRATOBONE models do include a template to modify a spare backplate to esthetically complete the installation if desired. Backbone Guitar Products will appeal to a broad spectrum of players. The Standard models are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. This will allow for and instant upgrade in performance that is easy to achieve without wiring changes or drilling holes. Simply unstring the guitar. Remove the neck mounting screws. (NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO REMOVE AND REMOUNT A GUITAR NECK, SEEK ASSISTANCE AT YOUR LOCAL GUITAR STORE!) Remove stock neck mount plate and replace with appropriate model. T-BONE MODELS: Align the new plate with the string path and reinstall the mounting screws. TIP: Place a small piece of masking tape on the centerline of the strings just below the bottom of the T-BONE and another on the centerline of the T-BONE to align properly also you can shine a flashlight through the bridge holes.
